【8/2】無事帰国できました！

 ブログの更新が遅れてしまい、申し訳ございませんでした。 （到着口まで撮影が禁止でしたので、成田空港での全体写真が撮れませんでした。） 先週8/2(土)、ブリスベン空港からの6時間超にもおよぶ長旅を終え、生徒たちが成田空港に着陸しました！みな久々の日本に安心しながら、嬉々として成田空港の写真を物珍しく撮っていました。 みなさんはこのオーストラリアで過ごした２週間をどう振り返るでしょうか。 海外で２週間暮らすことは、英語教師である私にとってもチャレンジングで、良い刺激となりました。生徒たちにとっても、ホームステイ先や学校等で英語にどっぷりつかる２週間は、感じている以上に大きな学びとなっていることでしょう （思えば私も、英語が上手くなりたいと思うようになったのは中３で行ったイギリスへの語学研修がきっかけでした） 。 英語についてインスピレーションを受けた人だけでなく、日本やいつも側にいてくれる家族のありがたさを感じることができた人もいるのではないでしょうか。日本の料理や物価、価値観や文化など、当たり前だったものが当たり前でないという経験は、なかなか得難い貴重なものです。僕の近くで一番それを感じていたのは、他でもない片山先生でした。　 さて、生徒たちがソーラン節を踊った動画を共有できていませんでしたので、こちらで共有させていただきます！ 【ソーラン節　動画】 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1836GjBBvkt_n1LHGqNMTSKQTY9WvDCSg/view?usp=sharing ↑のリンクからご視聴ください！ ２週間を振り返った生徒の感想を共有します。 Today I left our host family, returned to Japan and finished my study abroad experience. 【8/1】Farewell Ceremony で修了証をもらいました！

本日は、通常授業の後、各生徒がプログラムの修了書を受け取るFarewell Ceremonyがありました。 その前にバディーたちと最後のMorning Tea(朝の40分休憩)を過ごし、一緒にミートパイやフルーツを食べながらお話をしました。バディーが授業等の関係で来れない生徒たちも、仲の良いほかのバディーと軽食をとり、これまでの感謝を伝えていました！ その後、Farewell Ceremony では、生徒一人一人に対してプログラム修了証が手渡されました。みんな、お疲れさまでした！！(⌒∇⌒) みんな、いい笑顔ですね(⌒∇⌒) この2週間、本当によく頑張りました。 本日の生徒の感想です。 G’day!! Today was my last day at “Hillcrest Christian College”. Today’s “morning tea time”was very special. We had a “Farewell morning tea time” and we spent a wonderful but final time with our buddy. I ate delicious breads and brownies together with my buddy and I gave a thank you card to him. I was glad that he was delighted to get my card because I put my heart into it. We were both sad to say goodbye but he said me that he will contact me when he travel to Japan someday. I very miss him but I look forward to see him someday. 【7/31】オーストラリアで有名な Lamington というお菓子を作りました！

 本日は、English の Julie 先生がお休みでしたので、全グループ現地生の通常授業に入り、英語を浴び続けました。タフではあったかもしれませんが、留学終了を目前に、英語に多く振れるいい機会が与えられましたね。 さて、そのあとは Australian Food Activity です！ 全グループが調理室に入り、Lamingtonというお菓子作りを体験しました。 チョコでコーティングしたパンケーキを、ココナッツでコーティングした甘いスイーツです！ 調理方法が簡単だったこともあり、みんなスムーズに調理できていました！ 　　　　　　　　　　 とてもおいしく出来上がりました！ 生徒全員、自分の作ったラミントンを美味しそうに食べていました！ さて、本日の生徒の感想です。 Today, I took the class whose name I don’t know. It was mainly students from the local school, so we played the game “Heads up!” with teachers. It’s a game that you guess what the word on the forehead is. The game is very difficult, but very fun! In the afternoon, we made lamingtons. It’s Australian sweets.  It was easy to make. Just put a sponge on the chocolate sauce and sprinkle it with desiccated coconut. It was a little difficult because the sponge collapsed. However it was very delicious. After we come back home, there were some small swans in the lake where is by my house.
