【7/27】オーストラリアで過ごす最初で最後の日曜日

 本日は日曜日ということで、昨日に引き続き生徒はホストファミリーと素晴らしいDay offを過ごしています！ホストファミリーの中には敬虔なクリスチャンの方が多く、日曜日には欠かさず教会に行くというご家庭が多いそうです。

私は片山先生とブリスベン市街までドライブをして、Queensland University of Technology という大学のオープンデイをのぞき見してまいりました。Bond University に引き続き、とにかくキャンパスが広くてきれい！！

Botanic Gardenというのんびりピクニックにお勧めなスポットも行ってまいりました。鳥がうるさかったです。

さて、生徒の本日の日記を共有いたします！

Today, I ate waffles for my breakfast and I went to the market, art museum, and Broadbeach with my host family. Near the art museum, there was a park and we walked around there. The wind was so comfortable and I was relaxed. At Broadbeach, I had a picnic for lunch. The view from there was very spectacular. We also played Frisbee near the water. It was enjoyable and good exercise for me. We are going to go to Burleigh beach in the evening and listen to Aboriginal music with fish and chips. This weekend was very relaxing for me, and I could feel the beauty of the Gold Coast. (女子：M. H.) Today is my second day off. We went to church with our host family. The building was far from what I had imagined. It had auditorium room, which looked like an performance stage. There were a lot of instruments. I listened to many people who were speaking on the stage. Suddenly, the live performance was started. They played a beatiful music. After that, we went to the beach and built a sand castle. We also saw many pelicans and seagulls. Then we had fish and chips. They were all tasty, but I liked the pineapple the most. In the afternoon, we went shopping at the Harbour Town Gold Coast. I enjoyed the window shopping. Today's experience was a new challenge for me. I will do my best and enjoy to the fullest in next week.

Today, I went to the market by the ocean. Tornado potatoes and açai are sold there, but I didn’t have time, so I couldn’t buy them. During the day, I went to another ocean and walked down the road.The ocean was so beautiful, but the wind was strong. I could take many photos, so I was happy. For lunch, I ate Hungry Jack’s. The french fries are so delicious. Also, I practiced So-ran Bushi with Shino.I am little nervous. For dinner, I ate carbonara with chicken. I want to go to bed early because I have school tomorrow.

さあ、明日はいよいよソーラン節の発表です！生徒たちへの発表は明日で最後になります。楽しく盛り上げていきましょう！
先日行った文化発表が好評だったようで、明日も残ったリソースを使って文化発表の時間を作っていただくことができました。広学生には可能な限りで用意をしてもらい、さらに日本の文化を発信してもらえることを期待しています！
